Satyam saga is getting murkier.I am feeling ashamed to be called a co-andhradite / an Indian. The list of frauds done by Mr.Raju seems to be endless.

Mr B. Ramalinga Raju, had ‘taken loans’ worth Rs 1,425 crore from 40 companies owned by his family or other relatives. That is not all. Most of the companies that gave loans to Mr Raju are operating from the same address and some of them do not even exist.
This was like the left hand giving a loan to right hand

Amaravathi Greenfields, Pavitravati Greenfields, Surasa Greelands,Madeswara Greenfields, Teepa Agro, Malaprabha, Netravati, Banganga Agrofarms, Koel Agrofarms, Saravati Greenlands, Ahar Greenlands, Balaghat Greenfields, Kolar Greenlands,Atryeee Agrofarms, Dhatu Agro farms, Hakra Agrofarms, and Bahudan are the benami companies run by his brother,sons and his other family members.

2. Rs 20 crore was being diverted every month in the name of employee salaries.Satyam Computers has only 40,000 employees and not 53,000. Ten thousand employees were non-existent and 3,000 belong to attrition category. 32000 salary accounts of Satyam are in ICICI Bank that handles more than 90 per cent of Satyam's salary payments in India. HDFC has another 2000 salary accounts. Add to this, an estimated 15000 salary accounts overseas. How did these banks opened accounts is a big question?
Satyam showed over 5200 crore rupees as its salary bill in 2007-2008.
How much of that went into Raju's own pocket ??
That is one in four employees salary was probably being diverted elsewhere.

The company didnt pay the medical insurance premium for the employees so they wont get treatment facilities.


4. Ramalinga Raju had used the name of 400 fictitious companies to buy benami lands in the city outskirts. 3,400 acres of land were purchased.These lands had been bought up in the names of Mr Ramalinga Raju’s family members, companies and other benami identities. There were 478 acres in name of Mr Akula Rajaiah and 312 acres in names of Mr Suryanarayana Raju and Mrs Narasamma (Raju's mom)

All these came out only when he was interrogated for one hour per day, had he been interrogated for more hrs then????

We will be hearing more in the coming days.The investigating authority has just possibly opened a can of worms, the worst is yet to come.

2min Maggi

I always wonder how maggie gets cooked in just 2 min.My microwave took 10 mins to cook maggie.I was wondering how can they show ad on TV that maggie gets cooked in just 2min.I measured the water mentioned on the pack i.e 2 cups for a packet, i took 4 cups for 2 packets.

I boiled water in microwave hi for 2min then i added maggie and emptied the curry flavour sachet and pressed microwave 100% for 2min, after 2 min when i opened the microwave (in anticipation that noddles are ready to eat and called my kids to have it) lol i saw it didnt cook at all, then i kept it for another 2min on high power, it is half cooked now.

Again i kept it for another 4min and at last it got cooked.So the maggie i cooked took 10min.

I am still wondering whether they are wrong or i did it wrong??

Happy pongal to all my blog friends

I miss the festive atmosphere back home .We used to get up early put kollam in front of the house and colour it with many colours.Take head bath, help mom in the kitchen in making pongal dishes.Visit grand mama’s house and eat her special dishes and take money from her. Evening wear new clothes and show it to the neighbours and go to the terrace and see boys flying kites.We used to be behind them to teach us, they used to say first you hold charka then we will teach, that never came (teaching part).We used to hold for so long but they never taught us.Run behind the kites on the roads and hid the kite under the bed, because my mom used to tell us not to touch the kite the manja will cut our hands.Best part was school holiday and so much to eat.I just love sweet pongal made by my mom,the very thought i am getting water in my mouth.
I really miss my childhood and wish I go back to my childhood days do all those things which i miss now, including flying a kite

Little one

Yesterday my little one spoke "A LA LOO" any guesses it is I LOVE U.She speaks only two letter from a word.

Baked a cake

At last after several attempts i successfully baked a cake.It is a rehearsal for the elder one bday.She asked me to bake a cake for her bday.She was very happy to see the cake and she liked it.My mission has been accomplished and happy to see her similing.Now its time for me taste to it.cheers

1 1/2 cup Maida

2 tbsp butter

1 egg

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup ripe orange juice

1 cup sugar

1/4 cup tutty frutty

Mix all the ingredients.Grease the tin with butter and coat it with maida.Pour the batter in the tin and garnish with tutty frutty.Preheat oven,bake the cake at 220 degrees for 45-50mins and check with the tooth pick if it comes out clean then the cake is done.

Marathon run

After a long winter break big one is back to school.In school i never participated in any run may be to use that energy in my later part of my life (which I am using now for sure).I get up at 5.00 in the morning,prepare breakfast for the big one and for hubby.Rush the big one to the washroom and brush her and give her a bath(Ta Re Zamen Par).Then drop her at the bus stop and wait there till she waves bye and come back home,btw little one gets up,she is always cranky and wants my attention.She push the big ones and tells her to GO.I will have a big cup of tea to get ready for another lap.
Once back home, I clean the house and mop.Prepare bfast for my myself and the hubby and little one.Hubby leaves to office,till he goes cant do anything as he will constantly calls my name to give me his tie,socks,watch,mobile etc.Half of my energy goes like this .Once he is gone I will give little one bath and later have my bath.Now time to cook lunch.Maybe I take half an hour to think what to cook,whether the kids/hubby will eat what I make anyways i am good at cooking .Once finished cooking, has to go down to get the big one from the bus stop.Btw shouting on the little one,giving her something to munch,keeping an eye on her what she is doing in the other room..
Big one is a sweet child, she changes her clothes and washes her hands and legs by herself.Now comes the important lap in the marathon run,feeding the kids.I run behind them to feed and the run last for an hour.Then put them to sleep.Now time for me to do my fav hobby of browsing the net.Of late I have become a reader of many blogs which I enjoy and eager to see their new post.
Time just flews away, it’s the time for me to wake the kids and make the big one do the home work.My marathon run is not at over.It will continue till it is 10..pm.Bye bye J

What is a school??

According to many of us a school is a place where children are taught to be good world citizens, but schools in Pakistan are taught hatred against Hindus and against the world.

It is hard to fathom what 10-year olds are taught in Pakistanis schools. It seems that Pakistani schools exist foremost to plant and nurture hatred for Indians, and especially Hindus.

What is taught in Pakistani text books:

Class IV
* The Muslims of Pakistan provided all facilities to the Hindus and the Sikhs who left for India. But the Hindus and the Sikhs looted the Muslims in India with both hands and they attacked their caravans, buses and railway trains. Therefore, about one million Muslims were martyred on their way to Pakistan.* The Hindus treated the ancient population of the Indus Valley very badly. They set fire to their houses and butchered them.* The religion of Hindus did not teach them good things, Hindus did not respect women.

Class V

* After the war of 1965, India with the help of Hindus living in East Pakistan, incited the people of East Pakistan against West Pakistanis. In December 1971, the Indians themselves also attacked East Pakistan. As a result…East Pakistan separated from us. We should all receive military training so that we can foil the designs of the enemy in the future.* The Hindu has always been an enemy of Islam.

Class VI

* In the middle of the city of Deebal (Sindh), there was a Hindu temple. There was a flag hoisted on top of it. The Hindus believed that as long as the flag kept flying, nobody could harm them. Mohd bin Qasim found out about this…. The Muslims began to catapult stones at the temple and at the flag, ultimately making it fall to the ground. The whole city became tumultuous and the Hindus lost heart. Some Muslims clambered up the walls of the temple and forced open the door. Qasim’s army entered the city and after conquering it, announced peace. The Muslims treated the vanquished so well many Hindus converted to Islam.* Before the Arab conquest the people were fed up with the teachings of Buddhists and Hindus.* The foundation of the Hindu setup was based on injustice and cruelty.* The Hindus who had always been opportunists cooperated with the British.* The Hindus used to please the goddess Kali by slaughtering people of other religions.

Class VII
· Some Jewish tribes also lived in Arabia. They lent money to workers and peasants on high rates of interest and usurped their earnings. They held the whole society in their tight grip because of the ever-increasing compound interest.* History has no parallel to the extremely kind treatment of the Christians by the Muslims. Still the Christian kingdoms of Europe were constantly trying to gain control of Jerusalem. This was the cause of the Crusades.* European nations have been working during the past three centuries, through conspiracies or naked aggression, to subjugate countries of the Muslim world.
· Hindus always desired to crush the Muslims as a nation. Several attempts were made by the Hindus to erase Muslim culture and civilisation.* The Hindus too wished to ruin Muslim civilisation and culture by destroying Urdu which has been closely associated with the Pakistan Movement.

Class VIII
* During the Khilafat Movement Hindus and Muslims were completely united and like brothers and they started to cooperate and live in peaceful togetherness. But as soon as this movement ended, Hindu hatred of the Muslim re-emerged.* Before Islam people lived in untold misery all over the world.

Class IX
* The Hindus and the Muslims…could not amalgamate each other’s way of life to become one nation.The main reason for this difference of cultures, civilisation and outlook was the religion of Islam which cannot be assimilated in any other system as it is based on the principle of…oneness of God….On the other hand, Hinduism is based on the concept of multiple Gods….There lies the difference between the Hindu and Muslim way of thinking.* In connivance with the (British) government the Hindus started communal riots and caused loss of life and property.At the time of prayers the Hindus tortured the Muslims by playing music in front of the mosques. Before the commencement of classes the students saluted the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi and Muslim students were also forced to do so.* Muslims promoted equality and social justice as against the division (created by) the (Hindu) caste system.

Class X
· (The ideology of) Pakistan…was a revolt against the prevailing system of India in which Hindu nationalism was imposed on the Muslims….* Islam gives a message of peace and brotherhood…. There is no such concept in Hinduism. Moreover Islam preaches brotherhood, equality and justice…. On the other hand, the Hindu society is based on caste system which downgrades the entire mankind.* After the establishment of Pakistan the Hindus and Sikhs created a day of doom for the Muslims in East Punjab.* The Hindus were encouraged by the (British) government to force the Muslims to join the Congress
